BTW, according to the Union Hall website, there's a show starting at 7:30. Will this interfere with the party? I'm not familiar with Union Hall; do they have a bar that's separate from their music venue?

hmmm that's a good question. seriously ive never been to a show at union hall is it the place that is always packed with tons of tvs and people watching sports on 5th and union? im on 5th and 1st and i passed that place all the time but it doesnt actually say union hall on it does it?

I just spoke to them...the music is downstairs and there's a private party in the back. We should be OK in the front and thay have already been warned that there might be a decent size gathering where we will be in the front.
PropJoe will be easy to spot. He'll be one of the few of us wearing an ass hat. :)

Pitbull: Absolutely were when I was there a couple of times about a year ago. Maybe they've improved but I seem to remember reading the same complaint as mine on some blog pretty recently.

I've had slow service there too. It's that lackadaisical hipster work ethic. There was one skinny guy behind the bar in a wifebeater...downright awful looking.
I'm sure they know that they'll get ripped a new one on this site if the service is bad Thursday night!!!!
