NYC Parks Dept tree planting season is here!
Im wondering if anyone has received their sidewalk tree from a call to the parks dept? I went out the other day and cam home to a 4 ft x 2 1/2 ft cut in the sidewalk that looks like they are beginning the process to plant my tree. I also noticed similar sidewalk cuts on a few other blocks in areas where there are no trees. Does anyone know if this means we are getting trees?!

Yes, it means you are getting your tree. They'll put better dirt in the hole first.

The trees usually follow the sidewalk cuts two or three weeks later.
