Looking for Rental Broker Recommendations
I'm looking for a large one-bedroom or 2-bedroom apartment in the Carroll Gardens/Cobble Hill area. Moving in November or December (so I've got time).
I would greatly appreciate any recommendations for reputable "neighborhood" brokers. Thank you.

We just rented a two bedroom in Carroll Gardens after looking in Cobble Hill/Brooklyn Heights/Carroll Gardens. As every broker told us, the market is very tight so be patient and make sure you have everything in order before you begin your search.
We used Ruth Kessler at Prudential Douglas Elliman (718.780.8122) mainly because she has the exclusive for a great elevator bldg (The Trolley House) in Cobble Hill. Unfortunately, units in that building don't come up very often for lease, but she was able to find us a great duplex in a brownstone. She is very diligent and she knows lots of the owners in the area.
Other brokers we dealt with and seemed in tune with the area:

I would suggest that you avoid Lisa Sulfaro at Corcoran.
