Appraisers Needed
My client has the following extensive collection and I'm looking for a reputable individual or company to appraise the goods and purchase them for resale. Are you or anyone you may know of interested?
p.s. My client prefers to not pay to have these items appraised.
-Meito China pieces: includes bowls, cups, saucers, plates
-100+ year old Oriental rugs (not in the best of shape: includes 10'x12' runners)
-45" and 33" LP's: from the 60's and includes rock and dance music

The numbers 45 and 33 refer to the revolutions per minute of what I assume must be 12 inch records. You maybe have some 7 inches, too, but those would not be LPs ("long playing") but that greatest of all art forms, the single.

You're client has several valuable items but is requesting charity. If you would like a service, expect to pay or barter something in kind for it. I think you have a fool for a client.

You can get free appraisals from auction houses, who then may be interested in selling them--check out the mid-level houses, like Doyle and Tepper.

This is insulting....
I'm sure you go to your supermarket to ask for free food too....
