Tile Contractor Rec
I've read mostly positive reviews here of Rob Mara as a tile contractor. Has anyone else used him based on b'stoner recommendations?

We just used Rob for a tile job that he finished for us last week. We've been renovating for a little over 5 years and have worked with A LOT of contractors. We actually fired the guy who was working on our house and was supposed to do our tile before we met Rob.
Rob is absolutely the best! Very professional, extremely knowledgeable and his work was amazing! He just completed a shower for us with subway tile, marble saddle, built in soap dish area and shower floor. We're thrilled with the outcome and it was such a relief to be working with a great professional and skilled craftsman. There are so many horrible contractors out there. We have very high standards and have ended up firing a number of folks over the years for sloppy work, lack of professionalism, unreliability, etc.. Rob far exceeded expectations and we'll be working with him again for sure.
If you end up using him, tell him that the ladies on Macon Street in Bed Stuy (btn Ralph and Howard) recommended him highly.
