Need to add an outlet - Any electrician recommendations?
I need to add an outlet inside a closet in my apartment. The breaker panel is on the opposite side of the wall (outside the closet).
Does anyone have a good recommendation for an electrician?
I've gotten 2 quotes over the phone so far - one for $300, and one for $90. The $300 guy sounder crazy. The $90 guy sounded nice, but he isn't available for a week or two.

Methinks/Mewonders what exactly you'd need an outlet in a closet for...growing something interesting in there?
sorry. not an answer to your query, but I had to ask.

I had one installed in a closet. Stashed my printer, modem, and router in there.

$90 sounds crazy and I'm pretty certain is against code to have an outlet in a closet.

it is NOT against code to have an outlet in a closet.

Call Paul from WCK Electric. I used his company for my renovations and they were great. Not sure if he will do a small job like this -- but its worth a try.

I strongly recommend Christopher John Electrical 718-389-9898.They will give you same day service.I had them rewire my older home and they were friendly and extremely clean. They even covered their shoes! I got a price up front so I didn't have any surprise fees. They had everything they needed right in their truck so they didn't have to take the extra time to go get supplies. I am going to use them during my whole restoring process!!
