Do we really need to spend money to have a home inspection?

Well, as per my point of view its worth to spend money to have home inspection. It’s not only the home inspection seeks out any defects, the home inspector will often give you tips on maintaining and repairing your house. A good home inspector will probably find out some things you need to know about before you buy the property.

Well what do you think about home inspection? I will look forward for your opinions.

there is no way in hell i'd buy a house without one.

i just bought my GRANDMOTHER'S house and i had a home inspection. I lived there for several years of my life and have no reason to believe that my grandma would deceive me, but a home inspection showed things that even she had no idea was wrong.

it is so, so worth it.

Just don't use one recommended by the realtor. It's really a conflict of interest. The inspector should comment on the life left in the heating & AC system, roof, etc. They will also do a Radon test though that can also be a DIY job. A good inspector can point out things that can help you negotiate a good price. What makes them good and how do you find the one? That's the question.

No need to discuss this topic. This is an ad for that website under the OP's name. It's spam that would have appeared on RE blogs all over the country.
