Vintage Brooklyn House Photos?
Just bought a brownstone. Yikes and heard theres a place you can get reprints of photos from a 1941 survey of specific housefronts in Brooklyn. Is this true? Where would i look? I dont need old postcards of Ebbets Field or Brooklyn Bridge just a pic of one house in Boerum Hill. Thanks!

Dept of Taxation and Finance -Just google that along with 'tax photo' and you'll get the link. You give them the block and lot number, and then pay them for the print size you want. They call in a few weeks and you go pick it up. It's very cool.

You can also have them mail you the photos, which I did a while ago. Definitely was quite cool.
