Richard Meier Glass Building Prospect Park
Does anyone have any information about sales at this project? Are prices down? Sales down? up? Concessions being offered? They seem far from completing the construction on upper floors (above 2nd floor).

Far from completing construction?
The building (from the outside) has been done for months.
They may still be working on interiors, but that's to be expected since it's not supposed to be ready till 2009.
Last I heard, they were nearing 60% sold. And that was many, many months ago.
I like the way it has turned out. I know some people don't like it, but I'm a fan.

The following is second hand information, and may not be entirely accurate. If anyone can confirm it would be greatly appreciated. I heard that around 47 apartments have been sold (break-even number was 45). The number of total apartments in the building has been reduced from 113 to between 95-100 because of so many consolidations. Evidently there is some minor permit issue slowing things down, but all the finishings are being held offsite and are ready for installation once all the permit issues are cleared up, and all the interior walls are put up. I think they are now shooting for occupancy by the end of the year. I have heard of no concessions being offered, and nothing on prices.
