Recommended: Fernando Alberta Chica
Could not recommend more or praise higher the contractor Fernando Alberto Chica (646) 472-4842. He is clean, efficient, sticks to deadlines, keeps you apprised of progress, makes helpful suggestions and is quite simply a delightfully kind man (as are his two assistants). Cost was completely reasonable and he stuck to his estimate except when I first okayed a deviation (and was very happy that he suggested the deviation he did!). He totally renovated my basement (installed new ceramic floor tiling, removed and replaced almost all the drywall, installed new plumbing and laundry sink, leveled cement, installed new doors, painted all, etc.) in less than 8 working days (no work needed to be done on the weekends). Just a great experience and will be calling him for future projects, no question.

He is AWESOME!!! He did a huge reno of our house and I can't say enough good things about him. A real gem: fair, pleasant and very, very skilled.

I recently found that my dryer duct was improperly installed and after having numerous contractors out to estimate the repair, I wound up using Alberto. He was able to do what none of the other contractors were even willing to consider - installing and concealing a new duct in the existing ceiling and wall rather than build an ugly soffit.
He was courteous, professional, detail oriented and on time. He was also more reasonable. I would highly recommend him for a job, big or small.
