Need Referral for 203k loan
Can anyone recommend someone to secure a 203k mortgage through? Definately not Alphonso Gill.
I've tried to track down Kathia Francis at SunTrust who is highly recommended on this site but I think she has left the company.
We are looking for someone good and honest to help us with a combination purchase/renovation loan.

Yeah...Kathia is great. I refinanced with her. Alphonso Gill is not trustworthy. Believe me...I know.

Last I knew Kathia had moved to Delaware. She was still in the business as of about October 2007.

I have been using a wonderful mortgage broker for 17 years for 203K mortgages,,, she has probably forgotten more about 203K than I will ever know.

I can definately say that Alphonso Gill is NOT to be trusted. He makes his living bilking his clients out of money by kickbacks from his title firms, etc. You will not close on time, you will be surprised with fees not disclosed at closing. Gill is a sociopath and patholigical liar... who needs that? Call a reputable bank. I heard Alphonso Gill was fired from Wells Fargo and then fired again from another bank. Stay away from him!

A good 203K mortgage guy is Shawn Meller at Chase- he is knowledgeable and honest. You are smart not to use Aphonso Gill. Alphonso gill has in the past stolen his client's renovation money for Christ's sake! A complete criminal.
