Need 3 bookcases refinished
Many years ago I purchased 3 pine unfinished bookcases from Gothic Cabinet Craft. I sanded them a bit a put on one layer of clear finish. They are still in great condition but I would like to have them professionally finished.
Any recommendations for someone to do this for me?

Grand Ave. Workshop, just south of Lafayette, next to Choice Market, I think. He does refurbishing, custom finishes and painting. By appointment only.

Gothic Cabinet Craft... It will cost you more to refinish them than you paid for them.

Grand Ave does beautiful work but is likely too high-end for basic bookcases, IMO.

For about a decade, we have relied on the wonderful and wonderfully priced wood re-finishing services of Wesley Daniels, He's worked magic on our staircases, bookcases, chairs, walls, and an antique display case. We originally got his name/number from the store Yu on Greene. His Ph. 917-609-5683

Thanks. The reason I didn't have them finished at Gothic when I bought them (they are about 15 yrs old) is because even back then their refinishing service was overpriced!
I'll call some of the above numbers
