Inexpensive Ceaserstone

We are looking for names of Ceaserstone counter fabricators. We had heard that it was the same cost to do quartz as granite and marble but so far the estimates are higher. Any recommedations would be appreciated.

We have Silestone countertops (quartz, like Ceaserstone, just different brand) and it was slightly more expensive than granite. I found that to be the case from every fabricator we considered. Not much more, but slightly more, nonetheless. Then again, granite and quartz both have varied pricing, depending on the color and the finish.

We got ceasarstone (Lagos Blue) in 2005 from Monumental Marble for about $75 sf. That was about $15 cheaper than anywhere else. You can find them in Staten Island inside the huge Richmond Tile showroom at the foot of the Outerbridge. I think we got a good deal because they had some of the same stone leftover from another job, but they were also willing to beat competitors.

We used Mondial tile for countertops and were very happy with their service. 718-232-0800

We went to G&S on New Utrecht and paid 85/sf installed for off white caesarstone.

Camerino has a good inventory of ceasarstone and is very reasonable. His shop is on 21st Street. (347)517.3062
