Bad lien need removed

I am a lady who lives alone. After Hurricane Francis and Gene, four months before Hurricane Wilma, which was a much less destructive, less violant storm, I had a brand new 3D roof installed. Immediately after wards, my roof leaked in many different rooms during a rain. It was the night they finished the roof. The owner came by the next day for payment but I told him I would pay hiom in full once he fixed the roof. He refused insisting full payment but my parents and sister had just been ripped off by contractors and he had lied to me already a few times about important matters so I refused until it was fixed. He became irate, threatening me, cursing, then he placed a lien on my home for much more than what the cost of the contract. Four months later, Hurricane Wilma hit and my home was 60% destroyed. Rain poured into my vents and down and out of my baseboards. Part of the roof also ripped off flipping off completely. My home was flooded 3-4" throughout. I have had 3 contractors inspect my roof and they have all stated it was NOT done to code. Also, they did NOT even use the washers OR peal the plastic off of the shingles before installing them. The valley was not put on properly for different reasons including the tar had not neen poured in the middle to keep rain from flowing into the house. Can you tell me how to get this Bogus lien off of my home? Thank you, Diana

You need a written inspector's report on the roof that confirms the roofer's work was inadequate. Not just verbal comments from contractors. Then you will have to sue this roofer so you need an attorney for that and to remove the liens.
