Tenant's Furniture
One of my tenants recently moved out of the fourth floor of our brownstone and left behind a bunch of furniture, fairly old but still in good shape.
Including dressers, a foot locker, a bed, etc.
Wondering if people knew of anybody other than salvation army that may be willing to come and take the furniture? I have called SA but the problem is they will only take items that are two floors up - since this is on the fourth floor they refuse to take it.

Gee, call me a scrounger but I might be interested in coming to take it away! I need a twin bed frame and a couple of dressers, and a footlocker is also a cool thing. Got pictures?

put in on craigslist -- offer it for free to anyone who will pick up. i bet you can unload most of it if it's decent shape.

I've had better luck getting rid of stuff on Freecycle than on Craig's. Fewer no shows.

If someone here is interested potentially in the furniture, feel free to send me your email address and I can send you pictures of the furniture.
Otherwise it sounds like I should go with Craigslist or Freecycle...
