Fixing a Brownstone Staircase
Hi, we need to fix a Brownstone wooden staircase and we were wondering if someone in Bstoner knew of a good place to call....We already contacted Heights Woodworking but we wanted to get other options....Any ideas?

Soxco. Search the site or Google the name with relevant additional keywords for phone #. I used them to straighten our stairs and they did a bang-up job.

yes, use Soxco they are all about staircases and if they charge a price it is for experience not hubris. I do not know anyone who has had a good experience with Heights Woodworking either as far as skill(woeful) or economically.

I used Heights Woodworking to rebuild 3 stair runs in my upper west side home. They were fantastic:clean, quick and they showed up every day until the work was complete.

Soxco is terrible expensive for what they do. They're are so many skilled carpenters that can do the job and save you enough money to replace your windows.
I would give Precision Interior Wood Workers a call:
Antonio James 347 218 2122.
Cut out the middle man and go to the source.
