Chestnut Doors for sale
Rare Chestnut doors. Beautiful hardware and hinges included.
Refinished and restored.

The wood looks more like red oak in the picture but, still, that's a great deal for those doors, especially with beveled glass and hardware.

Definately NOT Chestnut! That is Oak.
Chestnut trees (over 4 billion of them) were blighted and wiped out over the last couple of centuries and there really very little that was made from it.

Yes, this is v-e-r-y much oak. Walnut is a different color and grain.
The hardware looks to be on the new side, not old.
Q: Why are you getting rid of them?

Whatever kind of wood they are, they are good doors at a good price. I was told Chestnut...in real life they are not as orange as the pic.
The hinges are new good quality but the other hardware thing is original to the door. Only one glass pane is beveled the other could be replaced. I have more pictures.
They are not original to my building, Bought them in Balitmore at salvage (for much more than offered here) Decided to go a more modern route with my reno. Let me be honest my architects decided they didn't work.

those doors are ash not oak and color doesnt determine species ,the grain is definetly ash
