bringing an old stove back to life...
We are moving into a house with a 1940's "Caloric" gas stove. It is charming and works, but is rusty in spots and could use a good cleaning and temp. calibrating. Anyone know someone who does this kind of work in Bklyn and roughly what it would charge to re-enamel it or something like that?

I had an old vintage gas stove in CA and loved it so much.
I definitely want another someday! Hope you can repair it and use it.

The owners of Moon River Chattel sell antique stoves, so they probably know how to fix them or could help you find someone who does. It is in Williamsburg (Brooklyn)
