bathtub reglazing glazing

the bathtub in my house has been glazed once but really needs to be glazed once again. 1. is it possible to glaze a tub twice? 2. if so, any references for this service? thanks.

I used Al and Dave myself in 1995 for glazing a cast iron bathtub'in a rental.
So far so good. I am surprised it lasted this long.
The origial tub had a hairline crack.
They are insured.

I refinish tubs and there's actually two options. You can either have the old coating stripped or not - and then refinished. It just depends on your requirement and how good it needs to look. Stripping the old stuff can be time consuming and a huge pain, but in the end it's not too much more - we charge $125, but the prices vary depending on who you ask.

Also make sure to ask about the warranty of the coating if the tub is not stripped since it's hard to warranty a previous finish underneath a new one.

Find a company you trust and whose work you can see. It's all about the experience of the person behind the spray gun :)
