Bathroom supplier store
We are renovating a bathroom and Im looking for a store here in NYC to go to for some ideas and to see the products displayed. We are interested in doing one of the Kohler Body Spa/bath spray showers or something on that line with multiple jets shooting water out. Can anyone recommend a supplier?

after looking around a lot, I went with Grande Central Showroom at 19 Bond. I worked with this guy Art who was really nice and patient. If you work with Art, tell him this nice young girl doing bath/kitchen reno's in Bklyn sent you. (I'm in the middle of the reno now). I also went to A&F showroom, but didn't like it as much. You have to make appointments, you can't just walk in and browse...that doesn't work for me. Wherever you go, be sure to bargin down the prices. "List price" is totally BS.

If you want to see good displays, but may not be ready to purchase, I recommend Home Depot Expo on LI as well as Gracious Home on the UES.

I ended up buying at Park Slope Plumbing Supply, which matched prices I found elsewhere.

Try Smolka on the East Side. Simon's Hardware also has nice bathroom fixtures.
I've used both in my renovations and have been pleased.

Like you, I wanted to look at fixtures "in the flesh" and although there are a few in Manhattan that aren't bad (though I found some of the staff - at Simons and Quintessentials, for instance, to be insufferable), I finally also went out to other boroughs to look around. However, when I was ready to buy, I went to Smolka.
