Wheel Chair Lift for donation
I currently have a wheel chair lift installed in the front of my condo. I am looking to donate it to someone who really needs it as I do not. If anyone is interested you will need to remove it and transport it as well. For more information you can email to richtress@aol.com

What kind of lift? A vertical one? Are you sure you can legally remove it?

Have you tried giving Housing Works a call?

do you live in the new apts on 14th (give or take) at 7th Ave?
They had to put in lifts for ADA compliance.
PS If the developer and architect arent smart enough to comply with the ADA, they arent the guys I would be trusting.

It's a verical one, and no it's probably not legal to remove it but I own the property so worst case, I have to put it back when I go which won't be for a very long time. (I hope). And not 14th at 7.

Why is it there in the first place?
Did someone in an official capacity mandate that you put it in otherwise you are violating americans with disabilitie act law?
I would leave it where it alone.
You owning the property is only half the story.
Be careful what you wish for.

My suggestion is, you can donate your wheelchair to the nearest orphanage.I think it will be very easier for you.
