Tree Pit

I just had a New tree put into a pit in front of my house. Does anyone know where to get the metal Fence that goes around the tree pit? i looked at lowes but they did not have any.

I would try an iron worker. I would think that these are custom. Get a few bids as the prices from these guys tend to vary quite a bit and what you are doing is a pretty standard job.

yeah, 7:35 is right... these have to be welded and tied into the concrete.

Forgot to mention, we just had one done, $325.

I used a Vietnamese guy named Peter, cell 917-660-1885. I had some other stuff done at the same time. He anchored it into the concrete, didn't just drop it in.

You might be able to get one installed for free, through the Borough President's Office:

My dog can bound over even the two-foot fences pretty easily. I try to discourage her but I'm not always fast enough.
