Recs for weekly or bi-weekly gardener?
I'm looking for a cheapish gardener to come every week or two to do basic tending: cut grass, pull weeds, etc. Any suggestions?

This is pretty basic, but hire a teenager. If you teach them the difference between a weed and a plant, and show them the kind of job you want done in the first place (i.e. don't expect any prior landscaping experience or understanding), then I'll bet you can find someone. Summer jobs are supposed to be scarce this summer, and if you pay by the amount done rather than by the hour, you should be in decent shape.

I don't know how much you want done, but we hired Sue from gardensbysue.com, and were happy with her work. That's our tree well and some of her containers on the website.
Disclaimer: No, I am not Sue, but I did know her prior to hiring her.

Thanks for your suggestions. I'm not actually fat though arguably lazy. Fat Lenny is just a really good song.
