Looking for Front Doors

Looking for Front Doors

Does anyone know of any good salvage yards in the city? I'm looking for some new doors for my brownstone. They should look like the doors pictured.

These doors look gorgeous! I would hire a first rate carpenter to fix up and refinish them. I'm not sure that you would find salvaged doors in better shape AND perfect fit. Try Eddie (on Green and Grand) to see if he has anything to your liking. He may also be able to tell you whom to hire.

I would rejuvenate the doors you have. If you are really unhappy with what you can do in that regard, have new ones made by Heights Woodworking or another similar fabricator. Good luck.

Amaghini has beautiful doors but are expensive. If you find any new doors I'd love to buy these from you.

I'd also suggest trying to restore the doors you already have. They don't appear to be beyond hope unless there's something we can't discern from the photo. I had the doors on my brownstone (which looked far worse than yours) completely rehabbed and I was very happy with the results.

The OP never said these were his/her doors, just that he/she wanted some that looked like these.

These are not my doors, they are a neighbors doors. My doors need to be modeled after the ones in the picture.

Hello 9:31.

Where did you go to get your doors completely rehabbed? I have the same kind of doors that are in the picture, but they need work.

Thanks.

We have doors that might work. They don't look like this--they only have glass at the top-no iron, and they need some refinishing. I would be happy to send you pictures if you e-mail me: lindsayallen.la@gmail.com.
