I'd like referrals for a good/cheap floor finisher.
The hardwood floors in my one-bedroom apartment need sanding and refinishing. Can anyone refer a good but reasonably priced floor person or company? I am not able to tackle the project myself. I'm in Clinton Hill. Thanks.

I recently used A&A Floor Service to refinish the parquet in two rooms of our brownstone. They did a great job, were very prompt, thorough, knowledgeable, courteous and reasonably priced. The guy to call is Antonio; his number is 347 385 8935. Tell him Reno from Decatur Street sent you.

Try Inti Interior Finish & Floors - ask for Martin 347-234-3597. Please reference Allan - his partner Carlos did my floors at my brownstone in Windsor Terrace.

How much can one expect to pay for 2-3 small rooms (approx 400 sqft)? Ballpark? $400? $1500?

I have used Verrazano flooring and thought they were good value for the money.
