Graffiti

I have brownstone stucco on my building and want to remove a 1 ft sq bit of graffiti; any ideas? also does anyone have experience with a clear coat applied on the stucco to resist future graffiti?

For the past several weeks I've noticed a van throughout The Slope in large letters it states something like "Graffiti Free Neighborhood". Just yesterday I saw the van on 6th Ave & 10th St. A man exisited the van with a hose and equipment and removed the graffiti on the walls. This might be a free service to the community?

I think the City has started some sort of grafitti removal campaign but it's not necessarily free to property owners. I've used the coatings to keep new grafitti away. They're a little shiny (like clear nail polish)for my tastes but are pretty effective.

you can call 311, i think it is usually free fro the city to remove graffitee, they do it during these months until like november. Seen some vans going around williamsburg recently removing graffitee with high power hose. Think their campaign is active at the moment.

Try looking up some of the Watch Dog removal and prevention products made by Dumond chemical

Otherwise contact the city
