golf leaf look house number stickers

I've seen a number of house that have what look to be stickers in their transoms that have the look of a gold leaf painted number. Any ideas where to source these? I haven't seen any stores or mail order places that carry them?

We're not looking to do an expensive gold lead paint job, because we're likely to pull the transom down and change the door in the next year.

thanks-

Try speedysigns.com. A couple of people on this forum have ordered from them, including myself. I haven't put mine up yet, but the sticker looks great!!!

Thanks so much-

This, in my opinion, is the best part of brownstoner. I've had such good luck with people on this site contributing really helpful advice. Too bad nymag didn't pick up on that.

that site is great, I'm totally going to order house letters. Does anyone know what a typical brownstone number font is?

Try the Harrington font...I think that's what I ordered.

we did speedysigns.com and we are happy, $30 for "No. 478" I can't remember the font we used it might have been Harrington. Install was painless.

I had a really BAD experience with Speedy Signs. The numbers were not what I wanted and they refused to offer a refund or replacement. They are very expensive for what they offer, and I expected better customer service. Do NOT buy from Speedy Signs.
