Backyard wiring/lighting - pricing
What is a reasonable price to install outdoor lighting (4 outdoor lights and 3 outlets, at varios places in a row house backyard)? Nothing fancy. I am getting some wildly differing estimates.
Thanks

What are the 3 mains outlets for?
If you use low-voltage lighting and can handle a screwdriver you can do this yourself.

Dude wants power, not low voltage lights.

Thanks, I can read...he wants lights AND (that's a conjunction) power. If the power was only for the/more lights, low-voltage would do it. Maybe OP can respond.

We're going to need alot more info than that boys and girls. Is there an existing circuit this is all branching off of? If yes, is that circuit indoors or out? If no, are the walls going to have to be core drilled to get to the panel? Assuming the breaker panel is in the basement, is the basement finished or unfinished? How far is the run to the breaker? How long is the run outdoors? Is the switch going inside or out? Rigid conduit or EMT? Are you pulling a permit? Pictures would help.

Did a similar job was close to $1000. All done with aluminum conduit, threaded water tight joints, GFCI outlests, etc. I know the guy who did it for a while. Not sure if he gave me a break but it was all done 1st class. His name is Keith at K&M Electric - 646-423-7674. Scott
