5 sets of matching glass doorknobs
recovered from rehab dunmpster in brooklyn. best offer for all 5 and one single stamped brass art decoish plate.
the doors and windows were already salvaged a few hours later by a pro with a truck.

You might try soaking the knobs and hardware overnight in bucket of warm water with TSP (Trisodium Phosphate) and scrubbing off the old paint and grime with a toothbrush. They'll look better and probably get you a few more bucks.

Looking at those doorknobs just took me back to the home in Williamsburg I grew up in.The glass doorknobs were on 2 sliding doors that seperated the parlor floor rooms.The other knobs with the paint were on the hall entry door which had glass.

Some of the antique shops along Atlantic Avenue in downtown brooklyn, like olde good things, will sometimes have these if you are interested.

Reminds me of the knobs I saw at Look In The Attic (online at www.LookInTheAttic.com) - they had hundreds of styles of knobs, including colors, shapes and finishes. I was amazed that they are remaking these knobs. I bought a couple - nice quality, too.
