Restore brownstone front doors?

I need a reputable contractor who restores the heavy wooden front doors of a brownstone. Angie's List has no one, one owner said the contractor took her doors and refused to return them for 6 months until she paid twice the price. Any suggestions?

We were so pleased with Omar at the Brooklyn Navy Yard. Here is his contact info, and a link to samples of his work:

He repaired the frame of our pre-war apt.'s entry door after it crumbled in one fell swoop on a Friday night. He matched the color and detailing beautifully, was fair in price, responsive and very easy to work with.
It's worth noting, too, Omar was the only one of those we interviewed who was willing to work during the weekend.
