painters caulk
does anyone know what is the best painters caulk?
we were told that benjamin more is the best one to use
we would like the caulk to hold on a plaster wall that meets a wood stair, we have lots of cracks in an old browstone hall way

phenoseal- very thick, little shrinkage, but not cheap ($5/tube). Greshlers on 5th ave. and 20th street is having a close out on several colors right now.

They do make joint compound in caulk tubes as well. I used this product where the plaster met my mouldings and it worked nicely
