looking for wood floor refinishers
Any names of good quality moderate priced wood floor refinisher for small apt?

I recommend Joe Salem of Woodzone who just refinished the floors of an apartment and the hallways of my house, and also made some repairs. The floors turned out beautifully. He gets good recommendations throughout this forum and his prices are very reasonable.

Sullivan Flooring did a good job on our old red pine boards. They charged about $3.50 a sq. foot, and were quick and professional. (2 days, 3 coats of water-based poly) They've been recommended by others on the forum. Don't have their info at hand but a web search should work.

I'm not sure I would recommend him for other renovations, but Rafiq (917-239-2143) did a fantastic job on our floors in Carroll Gardens for less than $2/sf.

Flushing floor in Queens next to home depot.
They are chinese and do a good job for a reasonable rate.
Look them up in the directory.
