ISO someone to level a cement floor
We're going to put an engineered wood floor in a garden apartment but first need to level an area around a support beam where the cement floor is about an inch higher than the rest of the floor. Any reccomendations for someone good? Tia.

May be something you want to try addressing on your own with a hammer and screwdriver or chisel. Hiring a pro to knock an inch or so of concrete will cost you simply because they have to come to your home. Any kind neighbors nearby that can help out?

Good idea. I'm not very handy and neither is my husband. Maybe I'll look into a handyman as well as kind neighbors. Thanks.
