"...with an extension for sale."
Does this mean that a part of the house is being sold separately from the brownstone itself? Or that the brownstone itself has an extension and it's entire self is up for sale?
Excuse my ignorance (and I'm sure I look like an idiot), I'm trying to house hunt for a friend.

That means the house has been expanded back into the yard. Still just one building being sold all together. If you look at the floorplan in the listing, the "extension" is that part of the building that sticks out back and holds the pantries and baths.

No, it just means that brokers are illiterate.
"Convent Avenue presents a beautifully and thoughtfully renovated 20' wide single family, limestone row house with an extension for sale."
In addition to the fact that avenues can't present, extensions can't be sold separately. Try this:
For sale: A beautifully renovated 20' wide single family limestone row house, with extension.
Think BH will hire me?

How do you still create posts under the name guest? When I sign in as guest I don't have that option (as far as I can tell I would need to sign in with a profile to post) - can only comment...?

Why don't you buy an add rather than placing this in the forum section?
