glass etcher needed
Does anyone know where I can have the etched glass panes (the pattern is etched into the glass) made for our parlor sliding doors?
Comments
Is the pattern flush with the glass surface or is it recessed? If it is flush- you need sandblasting. Bear Glass on 20th Street and 7th Avenue can do this in-house. If the pattern is recessed it is either slumped or V-grooved which is much more expensive.

Tomas Tisch in Red Hook does wheel etching of glass.

If it's really wheel-cut glass rather that etched, this thread might help:

Williamsburg Glass on Classon Ave.
They have done two panels for me with elaborate designs. They are reasonable. Clinton Hill location.

going4broke,
Did you ever get that pane copied after your question on the thread I reference? If so, did you use Tisch or someone else, and how much was it?
