General Contractors

Hello,

We are looking to bid out a modest renovation to quality general contractors. Please advise of those that you highly recommend. The renovation is to add modern electrical and data/cable lines, as well as HVAC, renovate a master bath and laundry room, painting, plastering, floors, mill work and wood work. Please advise of recommendations and reasons for them. Thanks!

Call Mike. Electrician/Carpenter. Did a complete rewiring of one of the floors in our brownstone. He does great work, and more importantly, works neat.

Let me know if you want pictures of our space.

His number is 646-226-4575

Putnam, is Mike a GC? If not, maybe you should read the above post more clearly. It sounds like the OP wants a GC, not an electrician. Dubmass.

Why not give Linos a call, They are GC'S

I had challenging kitchen remodel completed by Lino. The building is a pre-war presenting many difficulties. Lino was incredible in completing the work and providing a masterful job on the cabinets, walls, ceilings, floors, and trim mouldings.

Are you mrs. lino'shome.com.
Do you think the op wants to rob a bank in order to pay them?

They don't want to show a liability insurance policy in addition to
not showing contractors license on their visits for estimates.

They are just a swell reccommendation for innocent people trying to make their home nice with their hard earned cash.

I have seen this response a dozen times with no variations.

Sorry op.
I had to put my 2 cents in to protect the innocent.
Be careful who you take and stay away from bullies in the profession.

There are several contractors who are professional and competent. The problem is you will have to interview several of them.
Check out their jobs and go with your gut for decision making.

I work with contractors, some of them are great and others are murder to deal with.
