electrician rec's?
We need an electrician to do the connection/switch and fixture work, basically finish up a job. Our electrician who did the rough-in bounced and will not return calls. Do people have recommendations? We are on a low budget - who have you used that is reasonably priced?

just to clarify, we have a small, three story house in bedstuy that we rewired, and now we need to do our switches, outlets, fixtures and intercom install.

I've used Alan for three small offices, my co-op and have recommended him to other friends, one of whom used him for an entire Park Slope brownstone reno. He's prompt, efficient, courteous, neat and not too pricey. You won't be disappointed.

I second the recommendation for Muhammed. He and his team are super polite, work very neat, and are very reasonably priced.
He rewired, an entire floor in my 4 story brownstone in Bed-Stuy

Hey All,
I found Mohamed mentioned above on Brownstoner and decided, after reading the comments, to have him do a medium sized job; run wiring from the box in the basement up a floor and install 2 new outlets, install a fan and other similar work. He is reliable, works clean and fair with price. I plan to use him for now on.
I highly recommend him.

I also found Mohamed above and called him the same day to fix a dimmer switch I'd wrongly installed. He picked up immediately and patiently counseled me on what might have gone wrong. Then he agreed to come by later the same day to fix it. He was on time, super friendly, very encouraging about my so-so electrical work, and got the job done at a fair price in about 15 minutes. Very impressed.

I would absolutely recommend Mohamed. 646-226-4575. he is extremely reliable - his crew is good, professional, on time, and has very good rates. we had a serious wiring issue. he solved this problem and found another issue during the work which he fixed at no additional cost. we will use him all the time.
