is it legal to paint outside on sunday?
I'm gonna have my cornice and fire escape painted sunday. does it violate any dob rules etc...?

i don't know, it probably take another day for the fire escape. i think he is gonna start with the cornice first.

I think you need permission for weekend work, but that might be based on the noise made. You can call 311 and ask.

No there is no violation for maintenance like this on a Sunday.
