Depending on the size of your building, refacing brownstone will cost you somewhere between $60,000-$100,000. If it's in very bad shape, be prepared to spend more. Unfortunately, there's no way around the going rate these days. Also keep in mind you get what you pay for, and you want to do this kind of job only once.

Reasonably priced usually = shitty work, refacing a brownstone facade is a detailed time consuming project requiring highly skilled craftsmen to be done properly. Why save 50k to devalue your property by 150k? Just drive around and see what I am talking about. I would reccomend Edson & Adami. Edson will probably be the most expensive and not kiss your ass to to the job, but the results will be perfect. I have no ties to them but have been involved in other work on three projects they did start to finish and their work is impeccable.

I had my brownstone done by Vincent Valoroso and sons. They charged me 68K for my Facade. The work was great and they where great to deal with.718-531-4685

I WOULD RECOMEND USING JOHN BUSCARELLO. HE HAS DONE MANY BROWNSTONE STOOPS AND FACADES IN THE AREA AND SEEMS TO BE HIGHLY RECOMENDED BY FORMER CLIENTS. 718-596-6422
