Where to get Awnings ??
Hey Brownstoners -
Does anybody have experience buying awnings ?? Do you know any decent companies to call on for an estimate ? (I am in Sunset Park.).
I think I want 2 different awnings- one is easy (for an upper 3rd floor window). -I went to Home Depot and looked thru the special order book-found one that would probably fit fine .. . But while Im at it I feel I should get one for my main back door to the garden because that wall gets hammered with weather and could use a larger more elaborate awning. So for that one I feel using a pro company might be best..

I am beginning a demolition on my house and am getting rid of the awning over the front door. It's brown painted metal I think, looks in good shape, let me know if you are interested.

I don't know if you want an aluminum one or not, but Costco sells sunbrella retractable systems and they have a passport coupon for them either ending or beginning this week.
