Trex decking

I've heard all sorts of things on this forum regarding decking materilas for rooftops, but from what I understand, wooden roof decks can only cover 20-33% of the roof.

If I used Trex, is this considered non-flammable? Could I got wall to wall? Is Trex signaficantly heavier than Ipe, for instance?

Comments

Trex is lighter than ipe (ipe is the heaviest wood there is), but it is still considered a combustible material and it is still subject to the same 20% requirement. - brooklyn architect.
