re-grouting?

I am moving into an apt. where the previous owner opted to put white tiles in the bathroom with dark grey/blue grout. I'm not a fan of this look. Can I put white grout on top of the current grout, or is it more complicated than that?

more complicated. You'll likely have to remove the old grout and replace with new.

It's not complicated, it's just laborious. You have to take a grout saw and cut out all the old grout. Then you can do whatever you want with new grout.

There is a Dremel Rotary Tool Attachment that makes the job pretty easy provided your tile spacing isn't too narrow...

father is a mason -- you are better off with grey grout because it doesn't show stains. but if you do want to change it you should be able to dye it which is probably easiest option. just be aware that you won't get to white.

Try grout colorant or grout paint.

Take a google and look for various products and tips on application. Good luck!
