Recommending Construction/Renovators

I just completed a project with EuroStar Renovation and so please with the job they have done for my husband & I that I wanted to share it with the forum.

We've had other contractors work for us in the past and have always had issues. Eurostar gave us the most personalized attention we've ever had. They went to with us to all the stores to help us purchase the best quality materials at the best price. There estimates were itemized and completely reasonable. They provided design ideas and all of the work was finished on time. They are fully licensed w/permit, which was important for us. They completed a very complex renovation in a timely matter and, to top it all off, this husband & wife team were a pleasure to work with.

Please take my word for it and give them a call (718) 846-1039. They will provide you with more referrals and before & after photos. After working with so many contractors, I am confident in recommending them as the best!

I too used Eurostar Contractors and not only did they completely remodel my circa 1900 brownstone ahead of schedule and below budget, they whitened my teeth, did my taxes, washed my car, and got my kid into pakcer.

Why would they need a permit to operate this type of
business?

They need a lisence from department of consumer affairs and a liabilty insurance policy.

If it is not a sole proprietorship, the company would need workers compensation insurance as well.

The last time I used Eurostar I arrived into Gare du Nord about 4 minutes late. Thank goodness Ysabelle was there to help me understand their "lisence" requirements.

Hey Katie, If you think they're so great, can I come over and see their work? Why don't you list your contact info?

train wreck

Agreed, 9:40. People should post photos of the work plus provide their own contact info if their posts recommending contractors are to be believed authentic. I'm not one who normally cries "fake" when I see posts on Forum, kind of hate people who do that too much actually. But when I read this one I totally thought it was fake. The language used is very very advertising and marketing. It's not the way a homeowner describes work in their house even when the love a contractor. For example nobody mentions a contractor being fully licensed, in a homeowner's recommendation. That's only done in advertising by the contractor themselves.
