new kitchen
I just wanted to share my new DIY kitchen. The whole thing came in under $400. I guess the biggest price chopper was purchasing a one burner hot plate($10.99) instead of a GE profile stove. Also the plywood shelf for dishes instead of the "whole cabnetry shabang". I love my cozy kitchen!

Cracked me up. Cool sink. I like its legs.

Interesting concept.
Let's hope you don't become a pack rat.
It will defeat the purpose of the design.

I just noticed a floor to ceiling pipe.
If it is for heat you should insulate it as not to get burned by accident,
On my end the photo is not that clear.

Agreed, where did you get those legs? Think I could find a bunch to support a deck I want to put on my townhouse?

Hilarious! You should have your own renovation blog :)

I think you should get something cast to like oversized chicken feet to hold up the deck.

That's a waste pipe in the corner, I think. Let's hope it doesn't ever leak.

Why stop with a kitchen, pull up a chair and you've got a home office!

The refrig is kinda overkill. You coulda just put in a cabinet and piped cold air in thru the window.

What we all want to know and no one has had the guts to ask yet is "Have you "christened" that room yet??
Posted by: daveinbedstuy at February 2, 2008 10:25 AM
OP here, Yes, the room was christened, and I don`t mean to brag too much, but besides being super functional, this is the sexiest (in another century sort of way) kitchen I`ve ever had!!
