Looking for some good design/build guys

I live in a 1 br co-op and need to do a relatively minor reno job --knocking down the half wall that divides the kitchen from the living room, and building a small kitchen island with storage/adding pendant lights etc. I don't think I need an architect per se -- can anyone recommend a solid design/build firm or something of the like? This is not a high end job, but I want it done in a timely and competent fashion.

You do need a permit to do what your describing -- at least the knocking down walls in a multitenant building part.

Eurostar Renovation (718-846-1039) helped me on a similiar renovation project. I've worked with other contractors and they are the best. They are fully licenced with permit and they are always timely.

Their estimates are very competitive and they do great work. I was very pleased. Call them and ask for more testimonials and before & after pictures.

Good luck,
Melissa

I had challenging kitchen remodel completed by Lino. The building is a pre-war presenting many difficulties. Lino was incredible in completing the work and providing a masterful job on the cabinets, walls, ceilings, floors, and trim mouldings.
