Desperately Seeking Brits
Morning all,
I am a British journalist living and working in Bed Stuy and I need to find (very quickly) a British person or persons currently buying a property of any kind in New York. I am writing a piece for a UK paper about British people taking advantage of the weak dollar and weak housing market. I need to do a short interview this week, and also take a couple of pictures, preferably in front of your new or prospective digs.

As the wife of w Brit, who fought brown sauce and then marmite for years, I say YUM!!! Once you try it, you'll never go back. And yay for your wife's folic acid intake. If someone's giving away free marmite, I'm first in line.

we're british and moved here last summer hoping to buy, with lots of pounds in the bank, but we've held off because we're just not seeing good value here at the moment. prices really haven't weakened much at all, unless you want to go well outside the established neighborhoods (we have kids, and we don't). maybe that's a different angle on your story...
