« Tiler Recommendation? Ideas for concrete yard slab »

Anyone acid wash their concrete?

If so, did you do it yourself or hire someone?

Any recommendations on what companies do this and the cost?

I did it for a garage where I put an epoxy finish on it. You use muriatic acid. Although you can burn yourself if not careful it's a simple process of broadcasting it over the surface with a PLASTIC watering can, brushing it around and hosing it off. If this is for a basement, I'd set up some temporary ventilation fans and if you can't hose it into a drain then you need to vacuum it up. Flooding it with water before sending it down the drain (I'm sure this'll evoke a barrage of environmental comments) or vacuuming it neutralize the acid.

Google webstites about garage floor epoxy or coatings and you'll find a lot of companies that offer the products. Not sure about any contractors that do it but a knowledgeable painting contractor could do it

Please live that to the Pro's. Muriatic acid it's something you don't even wan't to have around. God forbid your kid, kid's mistakinly play with it. Something terrible could happen.
Don't do it yourself.

PERRONE Maintenance & Construction offers this service for $5 per Sq Foot. Concrete is washed with Muriatic Acid, then rinsed & powerwashed. Looks decent. http://www.PerroneMaintenance.com
