Tin Ceilings
If you are looking for tin ceilings for either new or replacement applications, I just found Standard Tinsmith Supply in Bushwick. They have a wide array of patterns in-stock and they were able to match the ceiling in my 75 year old building. They are located at Irving and Palmetto and their website is standardtinsmith.com.

Do they do installations?

Our contractor bought ceilings from Abbingdon and installed them. I believe Abbingdon does installations too. Great selection and top quality.

Excellent timing for me, thanks for being generous with the info!
I was just wondering where to get this...

No, I do not think they do installations. This is really a supply house for the HVAC industry but they have a sideline in tin ceilings, cornices, etc. The stuff goes up very easily. It is basically just tacked up over the existing ceiling. I would guess most contractors or handymen could do the job.

I had Abbingdon install a tin ceiling in my kitchen about 25 years ago. About 3 years ago I went to them for a couple of sheets of the matching tin to replace a section that was damaged from a bathroom leak. I didn't ask if they still do installations.

I'm very experienced in installing new tin ceilings and really enjoy this kind of work. If anyone is interested in a quote I can be reached at bottlecap@mindspring.com
