need to get a hardwood floor installed
I need about 350 SF of hardwood flooring installed asap. Does anyone have any recommendations for someone reliable and qualified who can do this (and won't break the bank... $6-$8 SF depending on the application)? I've been waiting for a quote/commitment from someone for almost 2 weeks and am losing valuable time hence the pressure to move on this. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I've recommended Harmon Floors on here before. They did a fabulous job laying new floors and restoring old ones for me. You can try Desmond Harmon on 917 642 2752.

1800WOODFLOORS.COM, they are located in Astoria. That price sounds about right for them. They are fast.

I assume you mean $6-8 including the price of the wood, right?

If you send me your email address, I can email you pictures of the floor that my contractor (Beer -- 358-6118) installed. The floor is really beautiful, it's oak with mahogany borders. I didn't stain it, I just gave it a satin finish and it looks fantastic! If you click on my profile, I have written about Beer before.
Now that my job is coming to an end, I really want to get his name out there because he is definitely a great contractor. Once he does a job for you, you can always call him for any thing. He goes above and beyond to make sure his customers are happy. He's licensed and insured and his price(s) are really fair. Give him a call!!

The price was included in a complete renovation, but like I mentioned before his price(s) are reasonable. It was the entire garden floor which is about 800 sq. ft.
