I am having problems with my current provider (Boro Fuel) and I wanted to know who else everyone uses and has had good experiences with. Also if anyone else has had issues with Boro? Thanks

Apple fuel. sales only no service but far better then the goons at boro/bayside/ whatever they call themselves these days

what problems did you have with boro? i used them recently for a boiler ventilation repair job and it turned out fine. was thinking about using them more more going forward but would be interested in hearing your experience.

i have just found them to be a pain to deal with. I have been stood up for more than one service appointment.. you hear one thing from one person and something else from another. its hard to trust a company like that. i know a lot of people are happy with them but i havent been. the bad thing is i have a contract so i think i will have to finish the season with them.

They all provide disappointing service. That's the way it is.

When you make an appointment tell them if someone doesn't show you will use that time to call the better business bureau.

We use a small personal company called ET Minor Fuel (and have for four years). They have been great and provide wonderful service. Very on top of it, come clean our boiler every year and totally tune it up, answer in the middle of the night, etc. Their number is 718-439-5066 tell them Amy & Mike recommended them.
